Lodging & Meals
Festival-goers are housed in Dyer Hall and Clark Hall, Ferrum College’s newest side-by-side residence/conference facilities. An abundance of free parking is beside the buildings.
Each double-occupancy room is furnished with two single (college-size XL) beds, chests of drawers, and tables. Each room also has its own bathroom and climate control system. There is overhead lighting in the rooms, but you may wish to bring a small desk lamp. Each room has two small closets, but bring your own coat hangers if you plan to hang your clothes. Private rooms are available; see prices below.
Dyer and Clark Halls feature common living space on every floor and a kitchen for resident use. Elevator equipped and Wi-Fi connected, both buildings are fully handicap accessible, and like all buildings on the Ferrum campus, they are non-smoking facilities.
Linens, towels, and a lightweight blanket are included in the lodging package. (Note: Sheets are not fitted.) Some of the items brought by others to make their stay more comfortable have been XL (college) sheets (or at least full size sheets, which amply fit the XL twin bed), a foam pad for the bed, and a personal pillow and blanket.
The lodging package includes supper on Thursday; breakfast, lunch, and supper on Friday and Saturday; and breakfast on Sunday. Meals are served in the Ferrum College dining facilities in Franklin Hall, a short walk from the residence hall.
